You never know where project development will take you next. For example, last week had members of Imago Dei photographing some gorgeous Arabian horses. No studio shoot here–it was out into the field and fresh air. These models didn’t care if their hair blew in the wind or their shoes weren’t Prada. They seemed to know that they were in the spotlight and showed off for the lens.
The Deshazer Arabians are going to be featured in a mural on their own farm.DeShazer Arabians, a leader in breeding Egyptian Arabian horses, is located in picturesque Cypress, Texas a suburb of Houston.

Livio De Marchi may be from Venice, but his work has international appeal. He studied art and drawing at the “Accademia di Belle Arti” in Venice and has been prolific in his work for over 20 years, sculpting everyday, often whimsical, objects in a grand scale. Wood is his favorite medium, but he has also worked in marble, bronze and glass. Some of his more notable pieces include full scale hand-carved wood cars that he has crafted to be functional watercraft, and loves to “drive” them through the Venice canals. see a video here.
Some other works include household and clothing items, furniture and more. De Marchi has an obvious passion about his craft, “wood” that we could all follow our dreams that far.
