Luis Angulo

Be sure to come out this Thursday for Imago Dei artist and manager, Luis Angulo’s art opening at Premium Goods.

Luis’ politically charged art has become a way to explore his identity as a Venezuelan living in the United States. Striving to create art that engages the viewer through its message and craft, Luis applies paint in a way that corresponds with the subject matter. His imagery is derived from pictures of slums, political graffiti, Venezuelan people, and government propaganda; as well as being influenced by political artists such as Diego Rivera, Jose Clemente Orozco, and David Alfaro Siqueiros.

You can see more of Luis’ work on his website.
