Amazing New Glass Bead Finishes
We are excited to announce a new surface treatment offered by Imago Dei – Glass Beads! This new micro glass bead treatment creates a beautiful shimmering texture, reflecting light in myriad directions, while allowing the color and pattern of the previous layers to shine through. You really need to see this in person to appreciate the affect—it definitely has a “Wow” factor.

Glass is a natural product, eco-friendly and virtually indestructible. These micro size, clear, spherical glass beads are suspended in a transparent acrylic polymer, which is also non-toxic. It may be tinted or accept a coat of glaze for a uniform texture. The glass bead treatments can be brushed or troweled on just about any surface, including curved surfaces. The final product is extremely durable. It is washable, waterproof and flexible, and so has great potential for commercial spaces, kitchens and bathrooms. Once you see this product in person, you’ll think of endless design applications for this dazzling new surface treatment.

Imago Dei's holiday party on the "Libertania"
Imago Dei went overboard on the holiday party this year—figuratively speaking. Twenty-five guests enjoyed a three-hour dinner cruise veston Bay on on Gala 74-foot yacht, but here’s the twist—all came fabulously dressed in 1914 period costumes to partake in a free-form murder mystery hosted by D Comstock. Guests played the parts of fictional characters abord an ocean liner bound for England on the eve of the first world war. Spies, government agents, entertainers and crew members all had goals to achieve and attempted to solve the captain’s murder. After the cruise, all retreated to the lovely home of Eva Ann Shepherd where the party continued with the revelation of the murderer, a microbrew beer tasting led by Alex Conway and a hilarious white elephant gift exchange. All in all – a great night with our great team!

Canyon Wells at 15 hours old
Congratulations to Imago Dei owners Jamie & Jeremy Wells on their latest creation—a son! New baby Canyon Jeremiah Wells was welcomed into the world on Saturday, December 5th at 11:03 p.m. Born at home with midwife in attendance, Canyon weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20.5 inches at birth. Big sister Savannah, two and a half, is delighted at the funny sounds he makes.
Baby Canyon is doing quite well, is very alert and perfect in every way. The Wells thank God for his many blessings and a safe delivery.
