Imago Dei’s team of artists recently completed two custom Art Nouveau murals for a new hot spot in town, Flora & Muse.
The new Houston City Centre addition is a flower shop, bistro and European patisserie. The interior features a dining area replete with a Victorian tufted sofa and various styles of vintage chairs and tables lit romantically by chandeliers.
Imago Dei’s murals fit beautifully within Flora & Muses’ and designer Laura Umansky’s enchanting design concept adding to the overall ambiance which envelops diners and shoppers alike.
Imago Dei was thrilled with the opportunity to be involved in this special project and wish the very best to Flora & Muse owner Hayri Gurbuz and chef David Luna.

In the summer of 2010, Chef Masaharu Morimoto opened his restaurant Morimoto Napa in the heart of California’s Napa Valley. Pictures of the restaurant’s beautiful interior recently caught our eye. The captivating design and Morimoto’s acclaimed mastery of the culinary arts brought to mind once again that the power of creativity can be found in the most unexpected of places. Morimoto Napa showcases the creativity involved in the making of superb food and the perfect environment in which to enjoy it.
Chef Jeffrey Lunak is executive chef of Morimoto Napa, bringing expertise and years of experience to help Chef Morimoto implement his vision for the restaurant’s signature menu and oversee the kitchen that produces the superb array of dishes that delight eager diners.
Interior designer Thomas Schoos created a wonderful mix of color and style for Morimoto Napa. Modern, glamour and organic styles merge to form a sophisticated, yet inviting environment as a backdrop to the main attraction—Morimoto’s unique mix of Japanese and Western cuisine.
